About Our Relocation Department

 

Joann Marin is the Vice President of Relocation & Referrals for Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, CRP certified and also a licensed sales associate, REALTOR® for the state of New Jersey.  She brings a unique and diverse experience to her role.  Her impeccable work ethic and innate leadership skills are evident throughout her successful career collaborating with upper management and executives in prestigious organizations.

Joann has served in both corporate real estate leadership roles and in the field as a sales associate. She is known for her expert organizational skills, ability to maximize visibility and communicate effectively as well as develop and maintain strong relationships. Joann’s deep understanding of the local and global real estate market has been instrumental in helping her clients and REALTORS® achieve their goals. Joann joined Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty in 2014 to create a relocation/referral department, which has grown the relocation business by 90%.

In her current role she maintains the referral database, responsible for all broker-to-broker and relocation referrals, following up with agents of assigned leads, networking with potential relocation companies, developed the training for referral/relocation processes as well as handling quality control for managers and agents.

Also serving as the company’s business development resource, Joann effectively identifies and develops strategic relationships for the benefit of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty’s Associates. She works closely with Sotheby’s International Realty’s network of Relocation Specialists with the common goal of continued expansion by delivering best-in-class service to clientele. Active in the industry, Joann attends regional networking events, is a member of the Worldwide ERC and Relocation Directors Council.
