Melissa Giordano

Melissa Giordano brings her deep roots in Montclair and the surrounding communities to the world of real estate, where she understands the challenges of each step on the journey to buying and selling homes. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Melissa began her career in retail working with celebrity clients at New York’s famed FAO Schwarz toy store and later at Bloomingdales 59th Street. She believes understanding and supporting the needs of clients is fundamental to her work in real estate.

Melissa moved to Montclair in the 1990s and quickly knew she found home. She and her husband Don bought, renovated, and sold a house in town before buying and renovating another home, where the family still lives today. They raised their four daughters in Montclair, where all attended the public schools. Melissa is a committed leader in youth athletics. She ran Montclair Youth Lacrosse for 13 years, coached tennis at Montclair High School, and coached middle school lacrosse at Montclair Kimberly Academy. Melissa understands her community as a mother, a volunteer, and a friend — and she thrives on sharing Montclair’s gifts with new people who continually enrich the story of Montclair.
